Township Project of G+14 takes time to complete. This Project cited huge gaps in Billing as
1. Many Contractors were involved in project.
2. Variation of work against Good For construction drawings.
3. Maximum Items were procured by Client.
4. Project Team Changed
General Practice of putting this checks was Billing and Reconciliation of Site Progress and standard Audit of Bills.
Citing all the above gaps, we have taken decision to quantify all the Items from scratch and then do proper Reconciliation of Items.
1. We calculated all the accurate manually for Items and made bar bending schedules for Steel.
2. Cross checked all RCC quantity using 3D BIM process.
3. Done Billing checking and material reconciliation parallel for each Bill paid for all contractors
4. Done a Site Survey to Identify Gaps and variation.
5. Taken Joint Records from General Manager for all variations.
6. Reconciliation statement was prepared for all items and Final Values were attached.
1. Accurate Quantification followed by Reconciliation and checking of Bills resulted in 1 crore of saving on Final Bill.
2. This Process of Audit was taken by Client as New Standards for their Other Future Project Audits.
